HOW THEY MET.
My mom was a very outgoing person during her youthful days. She went out a lot and attended parties. My dad on the other hand was a workaholic and he wasn't very outgoing. He only went out with friends once in a while- mostly weekends.

They met for the first time at a party through a mutual friend. He was from the same hometown with my dad. They all say together at the party.
He did the introduction, and then told my dad that she was from nearby town.

There was another party two weeks after, and they both decided to attend.

My mum visited my dad on weekends. He was living in a family house, so she saw his siblings and his mum whenever she visited.

She wanted it, but she couldn't give a response immediately because she was scared her dad wouldn't agree due to her age. She was 21.

My dad went to see my grandfather, they had a discussion concerning the marriage. My dad asked for the marriage list. My grandfather had it ready before that day.

My dad prepared, and went back with his family. He paid my mum's dowry, did the needful. That was all.
There was no party and they've been happily married with four children.
