Hello #Uranium bulls. Mini thread: You probably won't read about this where you live, at least not yet, but Sweden is currently on the brink of power grid failure since the closing down of a nuclear power plant last year in the south of the country 1/x
A major food producer in the south had to shelve expansion plans last year, citing uncertainty over electricity supply, and last week a major paper & pulp giant announced partial shutdowns due to extreme price spikes for electricity. The cherry on the cake came last weekend 2/x
when state media urged people to avoid using vacuum cleaners, and provided several tips on how to save electricity due to the dire situation for the national grid. All of this because misguided "left wing green" policies of "going green" without nuclear, ignoring jobs, safety 3/x
and worse - we have not even begun the "electrical revolution", with EVs, home batteries, phasing out of oil across industries, etc. The fact is undeniable - for energy stability and a swift green revolution we need nuclear power! (Sources available if someone wants links) /End
