Some of y'all's problem is that y'all have issues with figuring out when you should have expectations of people and when you shouldn't.

Politicians, frex. You're paying for their keep and it's their job to be, at the very least, morally decent and upright human beings.
Your friends and lovers - expectations need to be negotiated and agreed upon.

Some of my family think that cooking/childcare is the woman's job in a relationship and that's a hello nope.

Getting a lover isn't a "get out of jail for everything including therapy" card.
Randos on the street - y'all need to get over yourself re: bathrooms unless we're talking about pinhole cameras and upskirt photos.

Some y'all's issue with gender is you think you get to have expectations of people based on what you think they are and that's a help no.
"but I can't tell" in a whine - it's none of your business!
You don't get to have expectations of randos other than "mutual respect and no harm"!
If you don't get to have expectations, why do you care what someone's meatbag looks like?
Spoiler: you shouldn't.
Whereas some y'all go the direct other way when it comes to people you should have expectations of.

Politicians! CEOs! People you give power to!
*cough* Billionaires. Celebrities.
