I’d be interested in seeing poll results on lockdown proponents’ perceptions of what’s happening versus actual statistics and facts. Based on the emails and tweets sent my way, I find there’s a major low information voter aspect to their views.
One big example is the many people who still talk about children dying of the virus. If they were asked in a survey to ballpark the number of Canadian school-aged children who have died of the virus I wonder how these people would answer.
The other aspect that I’d be curious to hear about is their impressions of where contact tracing has so far told us the virus is spreading (other than LTCs). Do they believe there has been any degree of noteworthy spread from grocery stores these past ten months?
