1/ Andrew Lovett is Professor of Geography in the School of Environmental Sciences at UEA. He specialises in the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and currently leads national research projects on the assessment of future energy pathways and landscape decision making.
2/ Andrew will use his talk at our Regional Launch to discuss the Natural Capital Evidence Compendium for Norfolk and Suffolk – envisaged to be the evidence base to support the development of a local 25 Year Environment Plan to complement the national plan published in 2018.
3/ This report reviews the extent and status of over 60 natural assets and highlights how important some of these are on the national scale.
4/ The evidence compendium reviews the future risks to natural assets in Norfolk and Suffolk, including from the pervasive influence of climate change and the variety of benefits at risk.
