Oh, I see they'd like to make a distinction between Trump's pre-meditated and planned insurrection and the insurrection that Trump incited that same day?

Why not both?
Authoritarians:
1) reject or show a weak commitment to democratic rules of the game
2) deny the legitimacy of political opponents
3) tolerate or encourage violence
4) are willing to curtail the civil liberties of opponents and the media

This is how democracies die.

Trump's #impeachment was justified. He used words as weapons to incite a violent insurrection against the United States in the hope of subverting the democratic process. He is an enemy of the government & must be held accountable.

One of Trump key rhetorical strategies has been force & intimidation. It's how he rose to power, it's how he kept power, and it's how he led the insurrection. It's an anti-democratic strategy. Trump is an authoritarian, a dangerous demagogue.
