This argument of who the greatest athlete of all time is so incredibly stupid and narrow-minded.
First of all, some sports are played more frequently than others so obviously if an athlete is the best golfer, boxer or tennis player (etc) they're able to compete more often and aquire more titles as a result thereof.
Secondly, it's so disrespectful to discard the achievements and dedication towards an athletes craft simply for comparison sake!
Finally, sport develops over time and athletes compete under vastly different conditions. This argument holds true even when comparing athletes of the same sport when they played in different eras of the game. Basketball today is way different to basketball 20 years ago, so -
the argument is null and void! And yes, I studied law beech 🥳
Anyway that's my two cents! Just appreciate the fact that we were and still are privileged enough to witness all of this greatness unfold before our eyes.
