Desi dude on a group said "Biden is not as good an orator as Trump" and I wasn't surprised because this is the demographic that thinks the shrill whiny rambling angry Hitler speeches are the gold standard of oratory 🙄🙄. Reminds me of that Office episode with Dwight's speech.
If you think this dude is going to tell people on his side to not comment on #FarmersProtest because the Indian government is upset, you got another thing coming. When he gave this speech, US politicians preferred to leave apartheid alone.
This is the full exchange if you wanna hear apologia from George Schultz very much like that being advocated by centrists.
So at least get your right wingery more at Vajpayee levels so I can continue to ignore you. And I remember you online army actively campaigned for trump so stfu about Meena etc tweeting for farmers. Grow up, man.
The thing with Modi is, he doesn't have the completely no-fucks-given-about-anything attitude of Trump to go full Nazi in public. Trump used to be taking sides in European elections! Shamelessly doing pro Saudi stuff for $$$. Modi can't just be like, bring it on, Biden.
He also wants the state dinner pomp, take Joe bhai to Gujarat, maybe go with Kamala ben to her native place and say some charming lines in Tamil. He cares about his legacy. It'll be interesting to see how he handles this new administration, which won't be shy to take sides.
American presidents have interfered all over the world but have generally left Kashmir alone like, "yeah, this shit is too crazy even for us and I've got better things to do."
So Uncle Joe starting his Modi relationship with Kashmir 4G insistence is a huge foreign policy shift.
Uncle Joe was running foreign policy in the Senate when Modi was practically living in NDTV studios. He knows that Modi and his folks can never admit that they restored 4G because of him. That would be admitting capitulation. Didn't do it for China. Won't for US.
Joe Biden seems to have the foreign policy of Teddy Roosevelt. Speak softly and carry a big stick.
Also, Biden has something very rare in a politician at that level. The ability to say "my bad, I screwed up." about past blunders and mean it. Many have written about how deeply and painfully he regrets his Iraq war vote. And other wrong positions of the past. That's refreshing.
As someone who entered the Senate soon after his 30th birthday, Biden's whole career and voting and everything is public record. There are no real skeletons to be dug out that wouldn't have been dug out by the DC investigative press in almost 50 years. Why Trump tried so hard.
Bhakt culture is all about respecting elders and everything, so let me put it this way. Biden's career started before the Watergate hearings and is peaking during a second Trump impeachment. He was speaking on the Senate floor about Indira Gandhi's emergency. He's... Experienced!
And especially you despicable Trump supporting desi immigrants in the green card queue, shame on you. H4EAD is back and you're still on the Trump train? How nazi are you?
