There is a predictable look to each new C19 scare tactic. The same academics, under the guise of pseudoscience, beat the panic drum, claiming the next phase is terrifying and unknown. Gov't officials then chime in and viola the chaotic C19 rodeo rumbles on. 1/
Consistent with this tiresome charade, public health has discovered CoV2 variants. Not surprisingly, they are seen as scary and mysterious. Please hold your lives in suspension while adhering to quack public health practices last seen in the middles ages. 2/
Viral mutations are common and CoV2 isn't an exception. Evolutionary pressure typically leads to variants being more transmissible but less virulent. Contrary to what fear mongers believe, viruses want to replicate and a dead host is inconvenient to that biological imperative. 3/
