Hey creatives. Insulting your own work doesn't make you funny or humble. It's annoying, it's an insult to the people who like and support your work, and it's a slap in the face to anyone who looks up to you bc you think *your* art is bad, what would you think of *theirs*?
It WILL keep me and many others from following you. It will make me UNfollow you. You will lose support & business.

And if you don't care about that, it has on several occasions discouraged newbie artist fans enough to give up on art altogether.

Don't do it.
I know perfectionism and imposter syndrome are a bitch, and self criticism is rough. But that's something to talk about with your therapist, not the people you're trying to market to. Not Twitter. Not anywhere you're using as a platform for your art. You hurt yourself and others.
