This is a cross.
This is a different cross.
This is a third cross scene, with three crosses. They are big crosses too. Hard to miss them. Why, you could crucify someone on those crosses.
here's cross 1 again, but this time with a man from Jersey wearing a cowboy hat for some reason.
Here's that cross again, this time at sunset.
Let me go back to this cross where it is placed LITERALLY ON TOP OF A STARS AND STRIPES MAP OF THE US. I wish I were a medieval historian expert in political religious iconography so I could interpret this very subtle message. Alas ... https://twitter.com/Lollardfish/status/1359014701523472384
well maybe the meaning here isn't that subtle and even I, Not A Medievalist Specializing In Political Religious Iconography, can figure it out.
Springsteen, lighting a candle in church: "Our light has always found its way through the darkness."

John 1: 5 "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
I'd argue "mountaintop" is a reference to Dr. King and thus a reference to Deuteronomy 34, too. And there may be other Biblical invocations in the script.
the point is that if you watched the ad and it didn't feel Christian to you (and white. and colonial), and thus excluding non-Christians (like me, an old secular Jew) ... that says something about your perceptions rather than something about the ad. Cause it isn't subtle.
