I wanted to express my emotional journey in a thread to better explain what it has meant for a normal American mother and wife to have been forced into living through the last few years. As someone who kinda thought she roughly knew what was happening in her country. But didn’t.

By mid-2017, my country wasn’t very recognizable to me. My dad supported Trump. Hardly no one else in my small circle did. But when I turned online for answers to this “Russia” thing, I had no idea what rabbit holes I’d end up finding. It’s actually ridiculous what is online.

Trying to parce out truth from fiction, hype from reality, using a skeptical analytical lens, I set out to understand who the f*** is Felix Sater, and why is he being linked to Mogilevich, a guy who alleged smuggled nuclear weapons to al Qaeda. Why did Trump do deals w/ Bayrock?

Once I began digging and ironing out Sater’s timeline and trying to make sense of a giant mess of online details, it’s mid-2018 and I’m trying to make sense of my mess of notes — @JasonLeopold @a_cormier_ bust out with their Sater profile, The Asset.

I’m sooo confused.

So the guy who may he working for Putin (?!) and the media keep indicating might be a “Russian mafia boss” and got in trouble for stock crimes got the numbers of bin Laden and turned Mulla Omar in a cave with bin Laden into a US asset?

Weird.

He also went undercover for the FBI in 2005, traveled to Cyprus, infiltrated a Ukrainian-Russian cybercriminal rang while he’s working at Bayrock, this outfit the media (and ppl like Louise Mensch, John Schindler, others) are saying was a mob front?

Um... alright?

I felt like I was in a strange reality where I didn’t completely buy what the left and media were selling by end of 2018, but I was still questioning what is the truth here?

“Wtf is happening?”had to have gone thru my head at least2x daily during drama of Mueller investigation.

Buzzfeed and my own research to this point confirmed it seemed likely he continued working with our government as an asset well past his late 2009 sentencing for his role in stock scam 1993-96. They reported through their sources “until at least late 2017.”

This would be through Trump Tower Moscow and even Ukrainian peace plan.

I’m also by now seeing people write about Sater setting Trump up as the Trump Tower Moscow info has started to trickle out incl. emails, messages, docs.

So by now I’m like Sater deceived DJT?

Ok?...

Some are even by this point suggesting Sater was one of the sources of the Steele dossier.

Now I’m thinking so he worked to set up Trump, maybe?

I’m still too chicken shit to try to contact Sater as a “nobody” with my questions. Why would he even answer, right?

I’m wondering why FGPS/Simpson didn’t even ask around intelligence circles if Sater could still be an asset, given what was on the record at the time they indicate in their book they were reading everything possible online and in public records on Sater. Around late 2015.

I realized there was enough on the public record they should have been able to see:
- Sater assisted US govt at least a decade
- Govt went to great lengths to seal files of a white collar stock criminal
- Obama AG Lynch defended Sater; she originally signed sealing of his files

I also knew based on Buzzfeed reporting Sater had relationships built over years with Mueller team and some of his known cooperation years overlapped with Mueller being Director of FBI.

What were the odds? This was also a confusing detail.

By March 2019, Schiff is telling media Sater will be testifying publicly. BTA Bank coincidentally or not names Sater in a lawsuit and media rakes Sater over the coils, alleging money laundering Bayrock-Trump SoHo. Then something strange happened.

All of the sudden by time July 2019 rolls around, Sater testimony is going from public to private, according to Politico reporting because of Sater’s undercover asset work for the DIA on “Russia issues.”

Oh, okay.

Around this point and the time Sater’s files including his pre-sentencing report from late 2009 are being unsealed by judge, I’ve realized Trump knew who Sater was and wasn’t blindsided.

Even after ‘07 article re:Sater past, another one in ‘08, and Trump saying in ‘07 deposition he would have to look into it, Trump had Sater at Trump Tower much of 2010.

See, interestingly, article on Sater in ‘07 was published just 2 days prior to Trump’s scheduled deposition.

Also later after Sater’s files were unsealed, Aug 2019, he had an interview with Isikoff/Corn and said Trump knew loosely about his being an asset in 2000s (Bayrock yrs) and his lawyer sent Trump lawyer detailed letter sometime 2015-16 (during TT Moscow) about his work for USG.

So by late 2019, I’m posting about Sater research on another forum and finally getting the nerve to contact Sater’s lawyer, Robert Wolf. I’m realizing right there in black white he was helping FBI w/two int’l $ laundering investigations orig. Russia snack dab during Bayrock yrs.

No reply from Sater lawyer, but I move from other forum to Twitter. The info battle was being waged here and most of Sater info was terribly wrong or lacking much-needed context.

I grew some balls and messaged Sater. Will you answer questions? Is anyone writing your book?

While of course if I had ever constructed what I felt was genuine truth telling a genuine story, I’d have published a book.

But mostly I just answered wtf was going on in my country.

To my surprise, he answered and was, well... nice. Not what I expected.

Awkward phase.

FF to now and there are still so many questions remaining to be answered that it’s incredibly frustrating.

Hence the emotional roller coaster and Twitter fights where I’m tired of pointing out facts and details made public long ago.

It’s been a long journey.

So hopefully if you read this, you’ll cut me a little slack on how hard it’s been for things to seemingly end up as unresolved as they are; nothing appearing to have been resolved to any satisfaction by either side.

I think what’s most important to keep in mind re: Sater is USG trusted/worked w/him for 2 decades, Trump continued to work w/him at Trump Tower 2010 even after articles about him published earlier, and he still chose Sater to pursue Moscow 2015-16 even after letter from lawyer.

And while he did have rough connections and circles, he was feeding info to our IC the entire time and never once that we know of had his character or integrity called into question and any allegations of money laundering happened while working w/ USG.

And I think what I’m most proud of myself for is regardless of whether I got zero likes or wrote tweets RT’d hundreds or thousands of times, all I’ve ever done is, by Aug 2019 when much of this became a smashing reality for me, I no longer gave a f*** who I made mad. Even Felix.

Do you even understand how protective mothers are of their children?!

You nut jobs were acting like Putin, who you just said ruined our 2016 election *somehow* through lots of *reasons*, had just installed basically his Manchurian candidate. It was ridiculous.

It wasn’t until my late 20s I found out Tony Stein, my family, had an entire Jewish background I knew nothing about, and I’m reading Felix Sater’s religious faith being called into question and I still sometimes get pissed off if I stop and consider it too long.

It was all so wrong — and even now when Twitter stripped me of 1,500+ followers and my tweets barely get noticed — I haven’t stopped.

This man’s life — other people’s lives — were completely destroyed over this.

DESTROYED.

Not only did Felix Sater at one point have his own children tell him their friends were telling them their dad was a “terrorist” and him having to explain *that* to them, the world now has proof he was helping hunt actual terrorists.

Why am I the only one yelling?
WTF.

I refuse to get too involved in the present reality of Biden and China when no one has yet adequately explained to this mother who was in 2017 worried for her child’s safety under a potential Trump-Putin-Puppet?!

I can’t get over the fact the Dems put us through this.

And it doesn’t seem to matter to anyone with any real power.

Show me justice for Felix Sater and I’ll finally shut the f*** up.
