the arudha lagna is calculated by counting the signs from the natal lagna to the house containing its lord. you then make the planet the lagna and count the same amount houses from that planet to get the arudha lagna
for example, let’s say you are a capricorn lagna and have shani in 5H. you then make shani the lagna and find the rashi of the house 5H away from the planet to find the arudha lagna. therefore, your arudha lagna is virgo!
according to parasara’s rule, if the lord of the house is in the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house, 4 houses must be deducted from the result
rahu and ketu must be taken into account too. rahu is the co-lord of aquarius and ketu is the co-lord of scorpio. if rahu is stronger than shani or ketu is stronger than kuja, then they will assume the role of the planet in finding the arudha lord
part II: what is the arudha lagna?
our lagna is our true self, whereas, the arudha lagna is how we are perceived by others. hence, the arudha lagna’s association with maya (rahu). it shows how the native is perceived in the material world and their status.
the arudha lagna is like our outer shell. one can be a deeply saddened or troubled person but have a generally happy exterior as perceived by the masses. this is rahu, it wishes to find illusions, perceptions, and impressions to cover the seemingly negative traits of itself.

pisces is typically uncomfortable with the mercurial energies but because her brihaspati is placed under the rulership of the benefic shukra (in libra and in 2H), we see her coming into great amounts of wealth earlier in her life.
whereas, her jupiter square venus is not necessarily a bad aspect but indicates minor difficulties and issues with assuming responsibilities and caring for children. which correlates to the unfortunate adversity britney had to face with her children custodial rights.
her shravana arudha lagna is associated with the birth star of saraswati and the ear, which indicates a general expertise in various art forms like music, dance and fashion. we all know how much britney is famous for her musical talent and strenuous dance routines

her budha and surya being in the 11H, indicates strict adherence to laws/rules, issues with children, wealthy family, cheating and backstabbing (we are all aware of the britney/justin scandal).
