The Vtuber community fascinates me in a weird way. Y'all use the word 'networking' but don't entirely understand what that means. Additionally, y'all expect a lot from one another in terms of emotional and social effort, when most of you are complete strangers to one another.
It's good to make friends who do what you do. It's good to directly RT, support, comment.

But You don't need to make besties or kiss the feet of every person you make moots with. IDK them. If anything, you probably shouldn't come out the gate hyping up everything a stranger--
says and does until you know what they stand for and believe, what their product is, who THEY are.

otherwise you end up in situations where pthb whups! Suprise! X person is a bigot or X person is mean as hell or X person is a liar/doesn't hold up promises.
Y'all ain't friends if you've known each other a week. Y'all ain't friends if all your interaction is collabing. You just know their DM info. If you want to claim being legitimate friends with someone, you gotta make an effort to know who they are.
Im personally a very chill person when it comes to my personal friend groups. I *know* a lot of people, but they are not all necessarily my besties. Will I help them if they need something? Will I be kind if they need support? Yeah, ofc if it's appropriate to and I can!
Thats just called being a nice person.

But y'all dont get to rag on other creators who don't talk to you every week when you met them what? A month ago?
Being a Vtuber/Streamer is just a descriptive part of a job. It's just a different method of doing something lots of people do: stream. Make content. The only 'difference' is using a virtual identity for either personal comfort or as part of your marketing appeal.
If you want to make it a RP playground, by all means, have fun in your circles making content with eachother and whatnot!

But don't shit on, shade, or vague people who move on from you when they realize that's all you feel like doing lmao.
