As someone who was told to their face, and I quote, "I really wanna fuck a girl JUST in her hijab," Huniepop 2 is not it, chief.
I'm steamed.
I'm steamed.
Like. The level of disrespect is actually making me nauseous. Fuck outta here with your hypersexualizing people of color, and specifically Muslims, who find a sense of empowerment in covering up. Fuck your gaze.
"sO mUsLiMs ShOuLdN't Be In RoMaNcE—"
That's not what I FUCKIN said mate. Muslims deserve love. Muslims deserve romance if they want it. Hell, Muslims deserve not to be DEsexualized just as much as they deserve not to be HYPERsexualized.

but when you zero in on someone who DELIBERATELY covers up to be judged for their actions instead of their appearance, to exercise their personal definition of modesty, and you embed it in media highly known for its sexual content? that's a terrible look.
Hollywood already has scene after scene of """unavoidable""" situations where hijabis """have to""" take off their hijab and it's tiring. y'all want to see what's underneath so bad when the point is for you to see what we DO.
to say nothing of the fact that many muslims, myself included, have a complicated relationship with embracing sexuality, because of community taboos & expectations. for me personally, it HAS been psychologically damaging. to turn that into something titillating is unconscionable.
am i saying DON'T SUPPORT THIS GAME IT'S THE FUCKING WORST? not one way or the other. look, do whatever you want with your wallet. just understand this is a really, really disrespectful thing that's been done.
