On my first day of retirement, I called into the social welfare office in Ennis. Just to see what I they needed, paperwork wise. Thinking that they would hand me a list of documents I needed, P45 etc.

I smiled and told the lady I was dealing with that I had been informed by the DoD that I was entitled to the Back to Work Allowance.
