Colonizers were Christians. Apartheid legislators/leaders were Christians. King Leopold II of Belgium encouraged Christianity, and so did neo-Nazi Eugène N. Terre Blanche.
Now it is very hard to convince me to even consider this religion for a split second. Sorry but miss me.

It's very personal for me and if you're Christian, that's okay...and I guess you're entitled to a freedom of association or freedom of religion, whatever. But when I remember that the wickedness of King Leopold II was revealed by his letter to the Christian missionaries...
The letter to the missionaries shows just how much King Leopold II had a wicked heart and utter contempt for Africans, just to feed his own selfish and imperialistic desires. I advise every African, or anyone for that matter (perhaps even denialists), to read it. It's scathing.
Under the guise of spreading civilization, Christianity and commerce, he was able to achieve what he had always yearned for - the whole control of Congo, but at a huge cost for the Africans. What he did was utterly despicable (as we all know).
When he wrote a letter to Christian missionaries who were to spread the "Word of God", his malicious machinations were just laid bare. Unfortunately the Africans in the Congo were simply overpowered both militarily and mentally.

So the letter just shows how much the Europeans undermined the worth & dignity of Africans. The intention was that the African was only supposed to read and not to reason. The culture of dependence was developed at this stage. The subjugation used Christianity to vindicate this.
