My 2 cents on KG comments.....

Goes without saying athleticism has taken leaps and bounds the last 20-30 years

These guys today are insane, but blindly saying "they couldn't play" about guys 20 years ago is dismissive of several things
A) you put guys in the league today you are also giving them access to the best training, diet, workout, etc methods and information

IE: Larry Bird isn't smoking cigarettes at halftime in today's game and the Celtics aren't letting him throw out his back out playing handyman Tim
B) Guys would also modernize their games

Hakeem Olajuwan comes to mind. He is in the conversation for the most skilled player I've ever seen. I have no doubt he would have been able to add a consistent 3 ball to his game. MJ as well
C) The game will always be about skill

The best players today aren't necessarily the most athletic

This version of Bron, Steph, KD, Jokic, etc

Not the biggest and fastest guys but the smartest and most skilled, which will always matter more
Anyway, just wanted to add my 2 cents. We can enjoy the game today without saying yesteryear was trash, especially when a case can be made that's quite the opposite.

Imagine Iverson in pace and space, or Reggie Miller being schemed to take 10 3 pointers a game

I like ice cream
