I honestly feel like this episode needed a little more time, but although a little rushed the ending closed everything neatly even if it was a little bittersweet. Nyaa-chan has been on a rough spot for a while, and having a man be kind to her made her confuse it for love-
-while Osomatsu, although he always wanted to date a cute girl, is at a complete loss when it actually happens. He never thought he'd get that far, so what now? He has no experience in dating at all, so no wonder he's terrified. He's so scared he considered bailing, but-
-it wasn't his brothers but Totoko that convinces him to have the decency to show up, at least to not do something as horrible as standing up Nyaa-chan. However it is the following day that she comes back to her senses, and realizes that it really is bad idea to date Osomatsu.
While it's good that Nyaa-chan did what was best for her, after Osomatsu struggled so much with what to do it hurt even more to get rejected, and I think seeing how Choromatsu managed to recover it's a reassurance that so will Osomatsu.
Again, I think the episode would have benefitted from having a little more time, but I'm okay with how it ended.
