1/ Going forward, every Monday at noon and 7 pm, vaccination appointments will open for child care workers, independent school teachers and staff, and charter school teachers and staff through our partnership with @onemedical, using the registration info from @OSSEDC.
2/ This week, as part of the “Faith in the Vaccine” pilot, the Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church will host two vaccination clinics for 200 pre-registered residents.
3/ The COVID-19 Clinician Champion Program (DC CCCP) will include medical experts who can serve as speakers during community meetings and events focused on COVID-19. Request speakers through the DC Health Community Outreach Request Form on http://coronavirus.dc.gov/vaccine .
4/ Additional investments will allow for the Department of Employment Services to make it easier for workers and residents to get answers about unemployment benefits.
5/ The COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program (CHAP) provides rental assistance to low-income renters who are in arrears due to the impact of the COVID-19 public health emergency.
