This tweet isn't law related, but aimed at my experience yesterday when getting my kid tested for covid in @Richmond_BC. The drive-thru testing sites are gone and the only place to get tested is a tiny spot tucked in the side of the hospital that isn't well marked/signed ... 1/
Once we finally found the testing site (which was not easy) at 10am, we parked, exited our car and walked in. To my surprise, we were THE ONLY people there to get tested. Literally walked up to the check-in counter and was tested within a few mins... 2/
While the process and quick (because no one was there) - why wasn't anyone there?! We know Covid is still running rampant in our communities, but if ppl can't find the testing centres, they aren't going to get tested... 3/
I am led to believe that the 'downward trend' of daily positive results we're being given is partly due to testing #'s being down. Are testing #'s down b/c it isn't so easy to get tested as it was perhaps a few months ago?... 4/
