First part takes place in Andromeda. Ego is further away, in a galaxy on the edge of the universe, probably MACS0647-JD or something. https://twitter.com/psychomanglor/status/1358867959054168064
With Nebula, Rocket, Quill, & Drax - yes, generally but not always specifically. https://twitter.com/asherboulet/status/1358875211848941573
I wanted the show to take place in the Pacific Northwest, so it fits location wise. But the primary reasons is they’ve been better at managing Covid up here, so it’s safer for the cast & crew. https://twitter.com/takaakimasuda1/status/1358876003431456769
I definitely didn’t always plan on it - that’s why she isn’t on my list. But I was consulted before it was set in stone, so it wasn’t completely out of my control either. It’s probably my favorite scene in Infinity War. https://twitter.com/hamzasisko151/status/1358876283908816898
Normally, Andromeda. https://twitter.com/vincentel/status/1358875555584696323
As for the Guardians movies, I have had total freedom, other than being asked to include Thanos & create an origin for the stones in Vol 1. I’m consulted on what happens to the characters in other movies, but, at the end of the day, that part is somewhat out of my control. https://twitter.com/13d_riera/status/1358877948384866308
Yes I do worry about that. For me there’s a difference between truly meaningful deaths & plot twist deaths where someone seems to die & then hasn’t. But if you milk that death - like, say, Yondu or Tony Stark - it’s cheap storytelling to bring them back. https://twitter.com/wizardofcause/status/1358878717238460429
No - the Zune was given to Peter by Yondu. But Meredith still remains the most consequential person in Peter’s life, of course. https://twitter.com/cmwashby/status/1358879963215253506
I pick the 2nd unit directors. I didn’t use a 2nd unit director on Vol 2, & very little on my other films. I never liked using them until working with my old friend Guy Norris on one scene in The Suicide Squad, an experience I enjoyed. https://twitter.com/aguilar_vic/status/1358879308677345280
I cry all the time while writing. I definitely cried when Yondu told Peter he was his father in Vol 2 & when Rocket gave in to being pet by Drax - I get teary just writing those moments now - but I cried many other times too. https://twitter.com/big_low125/status/1358877029454598146
Lack of stakes in comics has really hurt comics for me. I hate the constant killing and bringing back of characters no matter what the format. The engine of storytelling is that life and death matter. https://twitter.com/pguyton/status/1358880706068439044
Yes, definitely. https://twitter.com/zakreckless/status/1358883837779001344
