This Jon Kay piece is full of errors. He writes that this prof who doxxed her students is Mi'kmaq. But in this other article from a while back it says she's Metis. And in this other one it says her sister's Cree. Which is it? Get your facts right, Kay. 1 https://twitter.com/jonkay/status/1358776514175766534
This professor, Wolf, used to have a company called something like Stekaya, Stakaya - it's the Halkomelem word for Wolf. Wolf, btw isn't her last name, or wasn't - it was Williamson. It's funny that it became wolf. Her company was based out of a building on Scotia street in YVR 2
It's funny because I used to live in that same building on Scotia street. It was a live-work artist place across from a Native college. I loved coming out the door every day to see the totem across the street, and the beautiful carved Wolf on it. 3
This is all a round about way of saying, people who are *at best* 'disconnected' Natives have nothing to do with Native life. I get heaps of criticism from Native people. The Native poet in residence at the freaking library threatened to kick my ass for something I wrote. 4
*Natives* don't live in a consequence free environment. That article is about several different layers of gullible or just plain weird white people who need to take our names out of their mouth. 5
