UFC fIghters if they were NBA stars
Royce Gracie —> Jerry West

This feels like a pretty easy place to start, if the UFC had a logo I think it would be tough to not have Royce as it, the game isn’t what it is today with either of these two even if things couldn’t be more different
Randy Couture ——> Kareem

Both college champions, both top 3-4 big men of all time, both have been to a crazy amount of championships and both have been on the winning and losing side, undoubtedly legends who pushed the sport farther than most
Matt Hughes —-> Isiah Thomas

Two legends, two unparalleled champions, took down hall of gamers from two different generations and were just absolutely badass, not afraid to get in the mud.
Chuck Liddell —> Bill Laimbeer

Both two tough fuckers, had their highs and their lows, both champions, neither afraid to leave it all out there.
Urijah Faber —> Allen Iverson

Two guys who leave you wondering how they never won a title, both changed the game, both will go down as legends who pushed the sport forward and had abilities like few others did
Cain Velasquez —> Hakeem Olajuwon

Both won two championships, both have insane cardio and can go back and fourth with you all day long, both are also extremely skilled and versatile for their size even if they are the best at what they specialize in.
Steroid Overeem —> Shaq

While their careers only really compare before Reem got to the UFC, these two had to be together considering they are two of the largest human beings to ever walk earth
Nate Diaz —-> Dennis Rodman

Two dudes who don’t take any shit, true entertainers in and outside of the court/cage. Also extremely eccentric one of a kind personalities, this one made a lot of sense. Their styles are also very similar
Demetrius Johnson —-> Chris Paul

Two dudes who have accomplished more than any could ever dream of YET STILL deserve more respect put on their name, will both go down as two of the greatest ever
Daniel Cormier —-> Tim Duncan

Two of the greatest champions, any sport, as classy as they come. Both are as dominant as can be while also suffering defeat that they’ve always rebounded from. Both will also be looked back on and put higher on all time lists than they are now
Anderson Silva —> Kobe Bryant

The Spider meets the Mamba, two guys that you could call the GOAT without sounding like a total dumbass, also two of the most electric and prolific athletes to ever walk earth. Some of my best memories as a fan come watching these two
George St-Pierre —> Lebron James

Both suffered defeat on their way to championships, both won playing different positions/weight classes, both athletic enigmas who somehow are able to perform in prime shape at ages most are retired at, two people you can easily call the goat
Jon Jones —> Michael Jordan

The two single greatest competitors and champions each sport has ever seen, both are also huge fucking assholes with plenty of off the court/cage problems, can’t deny greatness though, can’t deny greatness
Max Holloway —> Russell Westbrook

Two dudes with pace, energy, and stats that will forever be hard to top. Both compete and maintain at a level others would be passed out at, one of a kind.
Israel Adesanya —> Kevin Durant

Both will go down as the greatest offensive threats in their sport, both also have tons of other aspects of their game that are overshadowed by how good their offense is. Both also lengthy as shit
Khabib —> Magic Johnson

Two of the best ever, both on Mount Rushmores, both played in two of the strongest eras in their sports history and had to go through some of the greatest ever, both also retired in their prime due to personal reasons, both at the age of 32 as well 😳😳
Chael Sonnen —> Charles Barkley

Two great contenders who had their shots at greatness but came up slightly short, both also two of the greatest trash talkers/antagonizers of their era who got under others skin in order to serve their own game better
Conor McGregor —> Steph Curry

These two changed the game, it’ll never be the same after them. Conor starting the champ champ craze and Steph changing the style of play of every single kid in the world growing up as a fan of b-ball. Both have two of the greatest resumes as well
Was gonna do some more but I think I’ll end this here, a lot of great UFC fighters and NBA players were left out simply for lack of comparison!
