Just something to think about (trigger warning):

What if cryptocurrencies are the ultimate in excess and denote the top of the credit bubble? This market is based on something that doesn't physically exist and has no required function. It is purely speculative.
Many scream that the #dollar is created out of thin air, and it is, but so is Bitcoin. That said, US dollars aren't worthless because they are required to pay US taxes and debt. These things cannot be paid with #bitcoin or other countries' currencies.
Bitcoin value is based on the hope that someone else will come in after you & pay a higher price for it. Again, that's speculation. Large money entering is a double-edged sword. If price drops, it can also be seen as concentrated supply to dilute the market and drive price lower.
Do you really think someone that's invested $500M or $1.5B is going to sit around and see that investment erode 50% or more? Especially if it occurs as the economy falls off a cliff? This is where it pays to be logical rather than emotional. Leave the emotions to the others.
Market tops are associated with euphoric participants which we are seeing in #stocks and #cryptocurrencies right now. Both markets have people calling for significant increases in value much sooner than later.
Every market top is littered with new retail traders who NEED price to rise because they are doing something they have no experience or education in. Instead, they play the market like they're buying a scratch off ticket. And when the market reverses they often lose everything.
Some of y'all will be triggered by this and respond emotionally. I implore you not to, but rather to consider the situation. I am not saying this is what is going on at the moment, but I am saying there are more than enough signs that market participants should be cautious.
There's little happening in these markets today that hasn't been seen in all other market tops. The question is, how high will the market go before it takes reverses and take everything they have? Until then, profit off the advance, but be sure you know where you need to exit.
