some jp fans are now discussing about ymir the founder wanting to be loved and that eremika "might" be involved again soon. somehow it reminded me of an old theory that i wrote. i'm going to discuss it again in this thread but in a much clearer way
firstly, we know how much ymir suffered in the past and she barely knew anything. though we can't deny the fact that she's also a human who possesses different kinds of emotions. because she was naive and deprived of love, she was easily swayed by eren's words (ch 122)
so what does this have to do with eremika? remember the scene where a titan was closely watching them which was kinda odd because titans are known to be very aggressive and attacks humans as soon as they've sensed them. as far as we know, ymir has the ability to manipulate titans
i'm not really sure about the normal and mindless titans BUT if she can indeed control all of them, it would be safe to assume that she was controlling the titan behind eremika including dina fritz' titan. why? it all goes back to ymir who did not know love
note that it was the scene where mikasa was thanking eren. her words were powerful that they made eren stand up again after breaking down so it's not impossible that ymir, who was clueless about feelings and such, could've listened too esp that she sees everything in the paths
given that ymir was listening, it lead to the prevention of the titan/s from attacking and even bought them time, letting eren regenerate his hands. dina was also done devouring hannes before mikasa started thanking eren but didn't attack them right away
it was as if everything was waiting for eren to use the coordinate. so in connection with the ending, some people expect another eremika confrontation which ymir has yet to witness. will mikasa be able to change anything like what was emphasized in 123? what will her role be?
anyway this is just a random thought and the jp fandom talked about something similar. anyone is also allowed to disagree and dislike but rude comments won't be tolerated, will immediately block. i'm open to any discussions too, thank you for reading my dumb theory until the end!
