It’s because they are ideologically incapable of accepting that anything run by the public sector as a public service can be at all capable of actually being a good thing worth keeping, funding or improving (of course it’s not perfect or beyond critique)

We need better #PublicTransport in GB & #Rail needs to be at the heart of that. And that means we need #HS2 & upgrades to local/regional lines. We WON’T get that by listening to Tufton Street-ists with road/car/oil lobby’s interests at heart. #WhyHS2 #ThinkGreen #ClimateChange
