Need y’all to cook with me for a minute.

Fast food is bad for society. We know this. There’s an instant gratification that comes when you consume it, and that’s it.

In large quantities, it is detrimental to your health. 1/9

Some of develop conditions where continuing to consume fast food will *literally* kill us. Even then... it’s hard to leave it behind. But we make the necessary adjustments in our diets so that we can live fulfilled lives. And we find out that life is better without fast food. 6/9

Over time, what began as an authentic attempt at expressing the Christian faith in our context became an enterprise that serves to fortify the positions of the powerful while keeping those on the margins.... on the margins. 8/9
We need to make a decision about whether or not we’ll deal with the instant gratification and comfort provided by fast food, or if we are going to take a stand for our personal and societal well being. 9/9
