This thread is a few tweets long, please give a read because a lot of Cowboys fans are more worried about Dak getting paid than they are about winning a Super Bowl....

Paying your starting QB a ridiculous salary is one guaranteed way to never win
The highest percent of the salary cap a Super Bowl winning QB has taken up is now Brady in 2021 at 14.97% ($25 mil).

The average cap hit percentage of QB’s to win a Super Bowl since 2010 is 8.23%.

How is it not clear that there is a formula to win in the NFL?
This tweet is a little dated, but still holds true.

If we sign Dak to a deal rumored to be $40+ mil a year it will be a death sentence for the franchise in regards to competing for a Super Bowl.

Mahomes will finally be above the threshold next year at a little more than 15%.
Why are people in the media lobbying for this to happen, while also screaming about how bad ownership has been regarding team building?

It genuinely makes me wonder if people do not give a crap about winning, but care more about trying to appear to be a Dak backer to the public
So many teams, media members and fans claim to be in on and believe in analytics being how teams should approach game-planning and in-game decisions.

Why does the media blatantly ignore the analytics of team building?
