Reminder that ICU cases remain extremely high in Ontario as the province prepares to announce the relaxing of restrictions.
It would be very demoralizing if people can eat inside restaurants and have a glass of wine while across the street people are on ventilators and doctors and nurses are stretched past the limit.
The silence coming from hospital administrators, ER doctors, and ICU staff is deafening.
We haven't seen the announcement yet and I do not want to jump to judgement. It's just that I feel I need to jump to expectation based on past govt actions.
If you don't think the stress in ICUs is at a critical level, read this. How would you like to be a nurse, a respiratory therapist, or a doctor haunted by this many deaths? We are taking these heroes for granted and I am fed up. https://twitter.com/CBCQueensPark/status/1354845400696565764
