Small story: We use @Razorpay for our payouts. Saturday late night we ran out of balance as I missed the email alert. We have regular payouts using that balance. To our shock, our bank was under maintenance that night for 8 hours. We were wondering what to do. 1/5
We explored few other options but nothing worked out. I tried transferring from my personal account but my bank has 24 hours restriction after adding a beneficiary. UPI to that account could not happen as it’s a virtual account. Balance was fast diminishing. 2/5
I pinged @harshilmathur at 10:30pm and asked for help. I requested him to add 5 lakhs to our account. I know it was a long shot because it isn’t platform’s responsibility to fund (infact they charge ROI as its a revenue item). I still tried my luck 3/5
I expected Harshil to pause and think but he said let us add 10 lakhs just to be on a safer side. And while we were chatting @shashankmehta05 sent me a whatsapp that money has been added to our account 4/5
