First off, I want to say that I do NOT want to downplay the severity of this horrific sickness.
I know many people are seriously effected to the point of hospitalization. Sadly, people have lost loved ones all over the world.
We were very fortunate...

We were very fortunate...
My wife and I were VERY sick for the first 4 days.
- Exhaustion
- Extreme body ache
- Our hair, skin, and eyes hurt
- We battled high fevers
Thankfully our 2 young children displayed nothing more than runny noses and some irritability.

Thankfully our 2 young children displayed nothing more than runny noses and some irritability.
We weren't great parents to start the week. We were in survival mode.
We ate breakfast food 3 meals a day and watched Disney+ from morning to night. I felt guilty, but it had to be done.
But as the week went on and our health improved, we ended up making it the BEST week.

We got creative to make up for all that TV time earlier.
We:
- set up a tent in the basement and had a sleepover
- painted everyone's nails
- built and painted a cardboard ship
- made cookies
- had sword fight + played dodgeball
- played lots of board games

It turned out to be an incredible week for my family. We are grateful our health bounced back so quickly.
My kids will talk about this week for a long time and won't want me to go back to work. Thankfully I have 1 more week at home to enjoy our time.

Today is my birthday 
I turn 33 years wise. I'm looking forward to all the heartfelt suprises my wife and kids have planned.
