Virat Kohli went on to score just 76 runs from 5 innings eventually dropped for the England tour however was taken as replacement of Yuvraj Singh but didnt play a game

Virat Kohli was consistently performing in Limited Overs and thus was taken in Indian team for test series vs West Indies . Kohli scored a pair of fifties in the first game helping India avoid follow on in first innings

With legends failing a 23 year old Virat Kohli went on to score the only century by an Indian in the series , also his maiden Test Century . Eventually Virat Kohli scored most runs in series for India

Continuing with his heroics in limited overs Kohli scored his second test century vs Newzealand and went on to win his first man of the match in Tests

Kohli wasnt successful against England in the first three test matches scoring 19,14*,19,7,6,20 eventually went on to score a century in last match

Virat Kohli had a good series vs Australia 2013 scoring his fourth century in Chennai and avg over 55 in series

With getting to bat just twice in West Indies series and scoring 3 and 57 respectively in Sachin Tendulkar's last series , Virat Kohli went on to take his no.4 spot in tests

After having a great t20 worldcup worldcup and decent asia cup, Kohli was looking to score well in the England tour but what was coming was totally unexpected

The tour was as horrible as it can get for Kohli as he scored just 134 runs in 10 Innings with top score of 39. Kohli's weakness against swinging ball outside off stump was evident as he edged them gifting his wicket.James Anderson took his wicket 4 times.

With having got his confidence back by scoring in limited overs it was time for a comeback in tests as India toured Australia

CAPTAINING INDIA for the first time Virat Kohli scored 115 in first Innigs shutting his critics

Chasing 364 in 4th Innings Virat Kohli had a 185 runs partenrship with Vijay for 3rd wicket with Team looking set for a victory. However the lineup collapsed from 242/2 to all out for 315 . Kohli scored 141 of 175 innings

The Austrlian Commentators regarded Kohli's century as the best they had seen in 4th Innings DOWN UNDER
