i’ll never understand why people would say people are being sensitive in a derogatory way. i don’t see anything wrong with being a sensitive person

sensitive people are likely to be more sympathetic and empathetic. they’re likely going to care about other people as well as themselves. isn’t that… a good thing? don’t we literally teach children this in school?
