Given that global eradication of SARS-CoV-2 is just not going to happen, and in the UK 2 vaccine doses are likely to be given to all adults by the end of summer, and a booster against new variants in the autumn, what is the 5 year plan for ZeroCOVID in the UK?
Genuine question.

Fyi this really was a genuine question & fyi last summer I did actually see ZeroCOVID as least bad option for UK. But that was then. We now have vaccines. For me, the situation has changed significantly and I haven't seen anything which persuades me ZeroCOVID is best long term.
OK, due to the amount of responses from people who, no offence, don't have a biology degree, please find me an infectious disease epidemiologist who doesn't accept that SARS-CoV-2 will become endemic.
Muting the thread now. Thanks to anyone who engaged honestly and tried to answer the question of what the 5 year plan of ZeroCOVID is, and accepted the massive complexities, limitations, and risks
