Today, "thoroughly dishonest" Peter Yeung, 35, has been sentenced to 6 months' imprisonment.
He was her last abuser.

District Judge Andrew Shaw told Yeung: "Alex had confided in you that she had suffered domestic abuse before and you used this against her and you told her police would not believe it [abuse] was happening again...

..She was a vulnerable victim after being previously attacked and she was manipulated into believing that police would not believe her."
Alexandra was found dead at home by a friend just 7 days after she reported Yeung to the police.
She feared she wouldn't be believed.

The Coroner's conclusion was suicide.
It is important to remember that suicide is extremely complex.
It's also important to remember that Alexandra was abused by multiple perpetrators (at least one other has been convicted).

The Area Coroner said she'd had made it clear that "one of the central factors was because of all the abuse she said she had suffered from her previous partners, and more recently because of an alleged assault."
So utterly tragic that Alexandra did not live to see justice.
