The Tom Brady Story.

A Thread //
Selected 199th out of 200 draft picks in the 2000 draft wasn’t exactly the start you’d expect for the best ever Football player.
Scouts thought he was too slow, unathletic and generally didn’t rate him. This underdog mentality would be something Brady used through out his career.
He wasn’t the starter initially at New England but when Drew Bledsoe got injured he became the starter and never gave it up. This mentality to take your chances goes throughout his career.
He led the Patriots to the Super Bowl in his first year. Where he also won the MVP. He led the team to 3 Super Bowls in 4 years.
He wasn’t done, in 2007 he threw 50 touchdowns and went undefeated in the regular season. But, lost the Super bowl to the Giants. In the following years he won another 3 Super Bowls.
Then the unthinkable happened as he left the Patriots for Tampa Bay. Many suggested without Bill Belichick and New England, Brady wouldn’t have the same success.
The season started poorly with Tampa 7-5, but yet again Brady got the team to winning ways and led them to the Super Bowl.
He’s now gone on to 10 Super Bowls winning 7 and established himself as the clear goat of the NFL.
There’s no bigger example of backing yourself and not letting others define who and what you are. His desire to constantly keep improving and winning sets him apart.
