1/ More good vaccine news! The United Arab Emirates use a different vaccine than Israel, but they trail only Israel in the percentage of the population vaccinated. And guess who has had a massive #Covid spike in cases and deaths that started pretty much the day vaccinations did?

2/ But guess what? The story for vaccines gets worse. The Emirates is split into several city-states, notably Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Abu Dhabi has been more aggressive than Dubai in vaccinating. Guess where the epidemic has really taken off?

If you said not Dubai, you’re right!

3/ Remember, all this is happening during a huge worldwide drop in cases. The best question now is: is it the vaccines themselves? Or maybe the PROCESS of vaccinating - sending lots of people (some of whom may have followed the lockdown rules closely) to meet at vaccine clinics?
