I hope everyone's ready for the opening question of the first 2024 GOP primary debate to focus on a 2018 girls track qualifier in Connecticut
Some things @NikkiHaley leaves out:
That Biden's order just recognizes a 6-3 SCOTUS decision
That 16 states covering millions of students already have inclusive policies
A single example of a trans woman winning anything

That the same trans kids she maligns are six times as likely to experience a suicide attempt.
That political debates about trans people have a proven detrimental effect on trans kids.
That she is contributing to an actual crisis while trying to score points over a fake crisis.

Oh, and she proudly hails the "generations of women" who fought for Title IX. Those women would be my employer, which has been defending Title IX since Title IX was a thing and proudly, unwaveringly defends trans rights today.
And the gains she cites among girls' participation are largely enjoyed by white girls--funding disparities persist to this day and are largest among schools with majority Black and brown student bodies. Almost as if this is a serious issue or something. https://www.ncaa.org/about/resources/research/ncaa-demographics-database
Women's athletic participation has dramatically increased, but it hasn't even reached the rates of boys athletics *when Title IX was passed.* So rather than fight for the equality among boys and girls sports, Haley would rather pit woman against woman in a game of forced scarcity
Also note youth athletic participation fell in 2019 for the first time in 30 years, and likely fell again in 2020 given oh-I-don't-know the PANDEMIC that has sent millions of students home https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/08/28/high-school-sports-participation-drops-first-time-years/
