Thought I'd revisit The Louis Theroux wrestling episode, and see how the lads are doing. Happy to report that Rick Deezle is still running the AIWF. The mullets gone, but he's still the same old Rick. In an unsuprising revelation, he's big into Trump, as all promoters are.
The ever likeable Jody Rushbrook has done well for himself. No longer working 18 hours at the garage, he now owns his own garage. Still working the odd AIWF show. You cant give up the dream.
Brian Danzig (AIWF Hall of Famer, whatever that means) works at a hospital. He's like the AIWF Undertaker. He pops up every now and again to stretch people, like he folded those socks all day.Dont think you can listen to King Diamond on your headphones as a hospital porter, though
Pistol Pez died of a heart attack in 2005. His legacy to me will always be cutting a only slightly better promo than Waldo.
Sarge is a building supervisor at a hotel in Georgia. Been in hospital with various health problems the last few years. I imagine he still thinks wrestling is real.
He just started tonight, but then Columbine happened and men with black coats had to disappear for a while. Alex Wright is the owner of New Sport Entertainment GmbH. Look at the guns on him. Come back anyone?
Goldberg is still making big money in the WWE. He swapped randomly spitting on the floor for doing high profile jobs on big shows while wearing his shorts. Essentially told Louis to get on the gas in one scene.
Where to start. Hardbody Harrison never developed the timing or the character work Pez Whatley tried to squeeze out of him, but he is currently serving life in prison for sex trafficking and forced labour. Which they dont teach you down the Performance Centre, I assure you.
Louis is still going strong. Documentaries on the BBC every year, a very good autobiography and he's in way more healthy than anyone down the power plant these days. I say Waldo won this one.
