Here's another design to think about in advance of @WSCCnews' coming consultation on Upper #Shoreham Road. It's not far away - it's #Hove!
Maybe not right for every scenario, but could this layout be good for certain parts of USR? What do you think?

Next stop on our mini tour is also #Hove - just round the corner from yesterday's. Lots going on here: single cycle lanes each side of the road, with kerbs to create separation, and parking spaces between the bike lanes and the main lanes. Could this work on Upper #Shoreham Road?

This one's #Walthamstow, north east London. See how the pavement & cycleway continue clearly past a side-road. Easier cycling & walking, but also clearer & easier when driving?
