This is a call-out to #journalists #researchers #psychologists and #sociologists to ask them to investigate & write about how women are being sucked into obsessive and vindictive anti-trans ideology and campaigning.

I believe that many women whose feminism was awoken by the #MeToo movement have been recruited into transphobic fake-feminist groups in the absence of a strong established intersectional feminist organisation in the UK.

#MeToo made women realise they still face inequality and that many women had suffered the effects of patriarchy, male abuse, inappropriate/ sexist behaviour - The transphobic fake-feminist groups weaponised this and found an easy target in trans women to vent their anger & power.

Itâs only by understanding *how* women are being recruited into this incredibly paranoid and hostile mindset (much like QAnon) that we can possibly figure out how to stop more women succumbing to their recruitment tactics (which use the same technique as the alt-right).
We also need to understand what techniques are needed to walk-back those who have already been sucked into these transphobic echo-chambers to the point where they are now phobic (irrationally fearful) of trans people. Maybe drawing on techniques of deprogramming cult members?
Thereâs clearly some women who are so embedded in the âgender criticalâ cult that they will never let go. For them the psychological validation they receive from being considered an âinfluencerâ in the anti-trans movement is too intoxicating. For others theyâre financially tied.
Itâs noticeable that some of the key figureheads of the âgender criticalâ movement are now financially dependent on keeping transphobia going - theyâve alienated themselves professionally from other work as their transphobia is now notorious, as they publicise it for ÂŁÂŁÂŁ.
Journalists, academics, and individual women who have been called out for their rampant transphobia, instead of expressing regret or remorse, chose to double-down and make themselves âmartyrs to the causeâ. All they can now do is grift off the back of their notoriety.
Of course this, in reality tiny, group of transphobes has got a disproportionately large audience as theyâve been given free-reign of the UK media. This has been in part due to news requiring âcontroversialâ stories to create ÂŁclicks / readership. But is also ideologically driven
Some influential UK journalists are personally/ ideologically/ professionally invested in âdestroyingâ trans people. Itâs clear they are (ab)using their privileged platforms to do so. Attacking trans people has now become editorial policy at The Times in retaliation to being sued
The relentlessly transphobic propaganda that has been pumped out to the UK public over the last 5 years has undoubtedly influenced judges, teachers, doctors, politicians, policy makers, the public. Until this stops, trans people donât have a chance.
As the UK mainstream media is now totally captured by transphobic people of influence within their ranks, it is dependent on the international media to report on this. It is in your interest, as UK legal judgments influenced by the media, are now being cited in other countries.
Itâs noticeable that the Bell V Tavistock judgment is now being referenced in legal actions in US States, and weaponised in Australia and Ireland by trans-hostile campaigners there.

Until the anti-trans hostility is cut off at the source - privileged white women in the UK - the anti-trans lobbying will keep on flowing into other countries.

With British âwhite woman transphobiaâ the religious right, conservatives, misogynists, and bigots have a perfect smoke-screen behind which to hide. Theyâve sucked in those fearful of âthe otherâ to swell their ranks and push for a roll-back of human rights.
We need to stop arguing with the bigots and giving a platform to what they say, and start putting our energy into exposing *how* they operate and *how* to dismantle their power structures and influence.
Key to this is COMMUNICATION - Writing reports/ articles/ research/ blogs/ having conversations and meetings to make people aware of WHAT is happening and HOW it is happening. Uncovering the matrix so that people can see the manipulation happening with their own eyes.
That is why I call on journalists, academic researchers, psychologists, sociologists and YouTubers, social media influencers, EVERYONE to document and talk about not just *whatâs* happening, but *how* itâs happening!

As a starting point, I know thereâs already academics who have written about this, but they need their academic writings disseminated to a wider audience in multiple channels and media.
