It seems very odd to me that many who have delighted in throwing 3rd Reich and Hitler comparisons around in recent years regarding such things as 'leaving a trading bloc' remain so quiet about this horror. It seems odder still that the German government seems so relaxed about it
All of the years of German sorrow and high profile repentance for the Holocaust are now seeming, if I may say, a little hollow. Not so much 'Never again' as 'Never again...unless it's economically inconvenient'.
There is no greater moral evil going on on this planet right now, and the world needs to stop looking away. The Tories need to implement Magnitsky Sanctions against Chinese officials. The Left needs to start talking about it as its number 1 foreign policy priority
