Hi Brussels!
Canadian here with some tips for this week: 1) If you have summer tires on your car - don't drive
2) clear all the snow from your car - all of it - visibility is important and you don't want to throw off snow onto another car

3) If you have an SUV (ugh) remember you are heavier. Moving is the easy part. When stopping you are heavier and it will take longer than you think.
4) Don't idle your car for 20 minutes to warm up. We still need to breath, thanks. Just wear a hat and gloves.

5) Clean the footpath in front of your house. Don't condemn people with mobility issues to isolation.
6) Clean your neighbour's footpath. You're out there anyways, it'll take 60 extra seconds and they'll be grateful.

7) Forgot, if you have a rear-wheel drive car be very, very careful turning - even at low speed.
8) Walk on your toes or shuffle penguin style - if all your weight is on your heel and it slips you'll be on your arse.

9) Dress appropriately - a bit of snow is so much fun if you are dressed for it!
10) Take photos of your roof periodically today and see where it melts first - you'll see if there are gaps in your insulation.
