Reasons why I like mahito.....

⚠️Manga spoilers btw⚠️
It would be illogical, to like both the protagonist and antagonist side, but I think seeing both perspectives makes the story more interesting. People tend to dislike the antagonist, specifically because they go against the morals of the Protagonist
Even after reading the manga, I heavily fw mahito. He was being manipulated yes, but he did not stray from his ideals. Remember a curse is born from negative human feelings. Mahito wasn’t born with a free will of choosing his ideals or beliefs
He was born from the fear and hatred humans have against eachother. It would explain why he thinks of humans as play things and why he was the whole species eradicated. Mahito did not value his life, as long as curses would replace the human race nothing else mattered.
Another matter I bring to the table is his cursed power. Which is essentially soul manipulation, in a verse where you soul is the strongest thing you have mentally. This would be considered a very powerful power right? His character design is all around well written.
You do not have to like him no, but this is for y’all to understand that he is not a badly written character at all
