I mean bringing your ass to our neighborhoods to get vaccinated AS WE LACK ACCESS.

I’m talking challenging symbolic or vague gestures by big companies.

I’m talking about using AAVE especially
when you should STFU.

I would like Black people to QT with a list the empty gestures we’re tired of

And what we want instead.

And I would like Black people to add hashtags if their intersections, if you know them, so we can expand our awareness.

For example Black Disabled people can add a hashtag like

#DisabilityTooWhite
#DisabledAndBlack or
#DisabledBlackTalk

when discussing Black Disabled concerns.

And I would like peers, allies and accomplices to LISTEN AND ELEVATE.

And reply if you have awareness of something you’re going to work on. Keep yourself accountable with a public promise.

I want to see you all support more Black creators.

All creators and creatives from Black cosplay and gamers or Black writers and freelancers.

Commit to a concrete goal.

“I’m gonna retweet more.” Is not concrete.

“I’m going to use my platform to elevate one person.”

I would like people to stop presenting

(AND HENCE EMBARRASSING)

the one Black friend you think said or makes your behavior okay.

If I say “why aren’t there more Black people on your show when there are so many of us in your field?”

Answer honestly instead of parading out that one Black person you deigned worthy out of 200 episodes.

GET VACCINATED IN YOUR OWN FUCKING NEIGHBORHOOD.

Eliminate cash bonds. Why do we still have full jails during a pandemic??
