Sensing some ambivalence about the Rockies on the timeline.

Here’s my take.

Yes, the Rockies have earned our criticism. You should express that in a way that’s right for you.

But we may not get to see Trevor with the Rockies much longer, and we should enjoy his play.

He didn’t ask for any of the stuff that’s happened.

Also, we’ve wanted the Rockies to let the kids play, and it appears that’s going to happen. It’s time to see what they’ve got.

They, also, did not ask for this dumpster fire of the front office.

Is any of this what we wanted? No.

But last year was hard. Baseball is wonderful. Let’s see what the Rockies have this year.

Again, that’s not to excuse bad management, and you should express that in a way that is right for you.

But we’re eager to see what the Rockies have this year.

If it’s good, that’ll be great (and a surprise).

If it’s bad, we’ll suffer together.

But life is better with baseball than without it.
