As many of you know Rep. MTG has been booted off her committees by a House vote.
This thread will explain why that is good

I believe in the future, there will be a rise of a Gingrich 2.0 in the GOP, in they would just as, if not more vindictive as Newt was and will take it out as Speaker.

Stripping Greene of her committees was the first shot made by Dems in a new front in polarization. Dems think muh "6th" and "muh Facebook likes" was the first shot but it wasn't.
This will create precedence of using a roll call vote to strip committees.

Whenever the GOP does regain the House, I think Gingrich 2.0 would move to use the GOP majority to kick people like AOC, Omar, or even senior Dems like Maxine Waters off of committees.

That would create enthusiasm among Dems to do the same once they regain the House.
The end result is that by the time Dems retake the House after the GOP takes it. There will be a sizeable minority of committee-less respresentatives in the House on both sides.

The result of this mutually assured destruction is that committees become less relevant in legislsting

That would be because committee-less reps would organize to bypass committees in order to get legislation through; with the help of those who a not-so-safe position on committees if the minority party retakes power.

Committee membership are also the second best way behind lobbying to keep reps in check.
The Whip has no power over a committee-less rep. So you see would those without committees openly defying the party and forcing legislation(sometimes successfully) through

All-in-all undermining committees only has the effect of undermining party leadership control and prerequisites that committees need to approve bills first; indirectly threatning ***ish and lobbying power.
