War heroes and disaster heroes are often acknowledged in moments like this, but the broadcasters mentioned these heroes without noting that they were defending the Capitol against a violent insurrection motivated by stochastic terrorism from the sitting president...
And current events are often fodder for humor and commercials, but Fiverr's fails to note that Four Seasons Total Landscaping is famous because lawyers for a president ending America's twenty-two decades of peaceful transition of power used that venue to spread lies.
It's as if we have -- in weeks -- forgotten what it means to nearly lose our democracy. It's just a salute at a football game and yuks between possessions.

Is our memory truly that short? Do we truly not understand what nearly happened last month?
