Now there is allot of talk about the need for men to embrace their "inner feminine." That may be true but what is being overlooked is that many men have yet to be embrace their "inner masculine" and they are conflicted about it.
Many male spiritual seekers understand the spiritual consequences of misogyny on both women and men. They also see the tendency for people to equate femininity and all thing matriarchal with 'spiritual' and masculine as a mere counterbalance with no intrinsic spiritual value.
As a consequence many males who are spiritual seekers struggle with actualizing the Great Patriarch, the virile, the fecundator, masculine male god. This archetype is now increasingly feared and condemned because people associate HIM with all things misogynous.
This couldn't be further from the truth because the Great Patriarch is loved by the Great Mother and Matriarch, the mother of all humanity. He is not responsible for the works of the devil the spiritual sickness (misogyny) infecting many men today.
No one is talking about this. This is why I am on Twitter.
Let me continue, as a result of all this many women CAN NOT TOLERATE a male who is masculine IN ANY WAY. And many MEN can not tolerate a male who is masculine in ANY WAY because of this association with masculine as innately hostile to all entities feminine.
A man with conviction is seen as egotistical. A man who is assertive is seen as aggressive. A man who is intelligent is seen as arrogant and condescending. Thus in the spiritual community many men will raise their voice a few octaves just to be heard.
These are the fact and both women and men need to be aware of this phenomena.
AND people are ignoring the fact that quite a few males who outwardly embrace a feminine aesthetic inwardly harbor a misogynous spirit. "Embracing the feminine" IS MORE THAN OUTWARD APPEARANCE.
PLEASE.
PLEASE.
And a lot of males use outward aesthetic like the wolf used sheeps clothing. Their appearance does NOT make them any more 'balanced" or "confident in their masculinity" than any other male walking around here. Appearance is the LEAST of it.
AND people need to hear this...many women need to embrace and understand the need for (and not fear or reject) the masculine SPECIFICALLY the Great Patriarch just as men must embrace and not be tricked to demonize the feminine SPECIFICALLY the Great Matriarch, our mother.
The feminine is no more spiritual than the masculine or vice versa. Spirituality is about not getting tricked.
Heterosexual and masculine males who are spiritual should stop struggling to find their "inner feminine" (and feeling inadequate about this) They should understand that their desire to embrace the feminine as a partner in both the physical and emotional sense is more than enough.
When was the last time you saw a clubhouse group on embracing the inner masculine? You never have and you probably never will.
